Another important milestone in our cybersecurity journey!

We are proud to announce that VDS Rail has successfully achieved IEC 62443-4-2 certification at Security Level 2 (SL2), confirming the cybersecurity capabilities of our Networking products.

This certification covers our complete GEN2 networking portfolio, including both our Train Backbone Nodes and Consist Switches. This means that cybersecurity has been addressed across the core networking infrastructure of our rolling stock solutions.

Following our IEC 62443-4-1 certification, which demonstrated our commitment to a secure product development lifecycle, this new certification takes the next step by validating the security capabilities of our products themselves.

For VDS Rail, cybersecurity is not an add-on. It is an integral part of how we design and develop our networking solutions for the railway industry.
