VDS Rail's Repeaters are EN 50155 Ethernet Repeaters for Rolling Stock applications. Ethernet Repeaters regenerate the Ethernet frame data and the electrical parameters when the distance between two networking devices is higher than 100m and can be installed between two network nodes, e.g. linking two Consist Switches or two Train Backbone Nodes, when required by installation parameters.
